At Swindon Karting we bring people together to make an action-packed and enjoyable race meeting, so your track time may be shared with other groups to keep your costs down. If you would prefer to keep the event just for you and your guests, there may be a small extra charge.
Arrive & Drive
Ideal for pre-race practice or as an outing with friends.
FORMAT:
Issue of race clothing and helmets, safety briefing and kart training. You take the wheel for a series of 10 minute driving sessions giving you plenty of time to learn the lines and improve your skills. Each lap is fully timed with print outs often available.
Juniors
Junior drivers must be 10 years old and over 4'6" tall. New drivers will learn in our exclusive Challenger junior training kart before qualifying to drive the 160cc race karts. An ideal birthday party treat (please phone for details of our party packages) or starting point for the next Lewis Hamilton!

Race Craft
Like to improve your driving skills? Race Craft sessions are designed for the absolute beginner or those who would like to improve their times.
FORMAT:
The event begins with an introductory briefing in our theatre followed by a 10 minute timed drive on our indoor circuit, this is followed by a debrief with further tuition to assist with improving driving skills.

Formula Racing - an F1 karting experience
FORMAT:
The ultimate Formula One Karting event - 10 minutes practice/qualifying period with the fastest driver taking pole position for the start of the race. Minimum group size 8 drivers, maximum 11

"Le Mans" Team Endurance Racing
FORMAT:
This is an event to find the fastest team of the day.
Practice is timed to determine your grid position, and then you race non-stop, changing drivers as you go. The winning team will be the one that completes the most laps in the time, not necessarily the fastest! Slow driver changes, accidents and breakdowns can affect your result so winning teams will have to be canny as well as fast...
For evening bookings: 8 teams minimum, for daytime bookings the minimum numbers are flexible. Maximum 10 teams. Teams may consist of 2 - 6 drivers but 4 is preferred by the majority of our customers.
At the end of the race there will be a podium presentation, awarding trophies to the top 3 teams accompanied by printouts of the final finishing positions and fastest laps.

Grand Prix Racing FORMAT:
This is an individual event to find the top driver of the day. After safety briefing and practice, drivers have a series of races scoring points as they go. After the final heat or semi, the top eight drivers will race in the Grand Final to decide the podium positions - a nail-biting finale to a real motor racing event.
Minimum 12 drivers - we reserve the right to add drivers to your party if you only have minimum numbers
