Arrive & Drive events
We have a special fleet of 5.5hp petrol engined karts for Arrive & Drive, or for an extra fee you can upgrade to the 9hp race chassis.
Junior events
The early stages of race training for junior drivers takes place in the exclusive Challenger training karts, perfectly designed for new drivers. As the young racer progresses through the Junior Club, they are licenced to drive the 5.5hp race karts.
Kart Driving and You!
A few tips to help you get the best from your time with us:
Bring flat-soled shoes for driving - training shoes are ideal and give a great "feel"
Start slowly and build up speed, you don't need to win on the first practice session
There's only two pedals - accelerate with the right foot, brake with the left, but not both at once
Karting is a NON-CONTACT sport - we WILL disqualify you for hitting other competitors
We supply helmet and overalls, but you're welcome to bring your own if you have them
Listen to the briefing, it's packed with hints for fast driving
And last of all - ENJOY YOURSELF!
